Refund, Withdrawal and Cancellation Policy

This policy is written under Turkish Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and the Distance Contracts Regulation.

There are two separate things you can buy in the App, and their refund rules are entirely different. Check which one you bought.

A. Premium Subscription (bought from the store, not from Odefit)

A.1 Where it is bought

Premium is bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Odefit does not collect the payment; the payment counterparty is the store.

A.2 Cancelling

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
• Cancel from your store account:
  • iOS: Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions
  • Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments and subscriptions
• Cancelling stops renewal. You keep Premium features until the end of the period you have paid for.

A.3 Refunds

• Refund requests go to the store. Odefit cannot technically issue a refund, because it never received the payment.

  • Google: play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
• The store’s own refund policies and time limits apply.
• If the store refuses and you believe your request was justified, write to [email protected] and we will try to support your case with them. This is not a promise of a refund.

B. Coaching Packages (bought in the App)

B.1 Who the contract is between

When you buy a coaching package, the service contract is between you and the professional. Odefit is an intermediary: it introduces the parties and provides the messaging and tracking infrastructure.

B.2 Right of withdrawal

Under the Distance Contracts Regulation you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a service contract without reason and without penalty.

However, the Regulation excepts services whose performance has begun before the 14 days expire, with the consumer’s consent.

Accordingly:

• When you buy a package you are asked separately whether you want the service to start immediately.
• If you say yes, you acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal, and that acknowledgement is recorded.
• If you say no, the service begins after 14 days and you may withdraw without reason during that period.

If you did not give that consent, your right of withdrawal is fully intact.

B.3 Withdrawal from a partly performed service

If performance has begun and you withdraw, the value of the service actually provided up to that point is deducted and the balance refunded. If two weeks of an eight-week package have been used, the remaining six weeks are refunded.

B.4 If the service is not delivered

The full amount is refunded where:

• the professional never begins the service;
• the professional does not respond to your messages for a continuous period of 14 days;
• the professional’s account is suspended or they leave the platform;
• the service delivered differs materially from what was described.

Write to [email protected]. Requests are resolved within 14 days at the latest.

B.5 When a refund is not given

• The service was delivered in full and you were not satisfied with the outcome. The App gives no guarantee of results (see Disclaimer, section 10); dissatisfaction with an outcome is not on its own grounds for a refund.
• You did not follow the programme the professional provided.
• Your account was closed for breach of the Terms of Service.

B.6 Note on payment infrastructure

Payment for coaching packages is not yet active in this release. Package requests are recorded but no payment is taken through the App. This section will be updated when a payment provider is enabled, and the refund flow will then run in-app. The rules here apply from the moment payment becomes active.

C. Dispute Resolution

If a refund request is not resolved, as a consumer you may apply to:

• Consumer Arbitration Committees (monetary thresholds are updated annually)
• Consumer Courts

This right cannot be restricted by contract.
