Explicit Consent to the Processing of Health Data

This text is presented for approval after you have read the Data Protection Notice. That notice informs you; this is your permission, and you are not obliged to give it.

Article 6 of Law No. 6698 treats health data as special-category personal data, which as a rule may only be processed with explicit consent. For that consent to be valid it must relate to a specific subject, be informed, and be given freely.

Your health-data consent is therefore taken separately from your acceptance of the Terms of Service. Accepting the Terms does not by itself mean you have consented to the processing of your health data.

What you are consenting to

You consent to the following being processed for the purposes set out in the Data Protection Notice:

  • Height, weight, body-fat percentage, body measurements and how they change over time
  • Your training records, fitness test results and performance data
  • Your nutrition records, meal photographs and water intake
  • Health, injury, illness, pregnancy or medication information you choose to share with the AI coach or with a professional

You also consent to this data being transferred to the service providers listed in section 5 of the Data Protection Notice, including transfers outside Türkiye.

Separately approved: progress photographs

Progress (before/after) photographs are approved separately. They are the most sensitive category held, containing both health information and identifiable imagery.

  • They are stored in a private, non-public area.
  • They are shared only with a professional you choose, and only if you choose to share them.
  • You can stop sharing, and delete the photographs, at any time.
  • Declining this does not prevent you from using the App’s other features.

What happens if you decline

  • You can still create an account, use the App and message professionals.
  • Features that require health data (training and nutrition tracking, progress charts, fitness tests, AI coaching, food recognition) will not work.
  • You will not be excluded from the service altogether, and you will not be charged more, for declining.

You may withdraw at any time, without giving a reason:

The affected features then stop working and, on request, your health data is deleted. Withdrawal does not retroactively invalidate processing that was lawful when it took place.

Your declaration

By approving this text you declare that:

  • you have read and understood the Data Protection Notice,
  • you consent of your own free will to your health data being processed for the scope and purposes above,
  • you know you may withdraw this consent at any time,
  • you are over 18.
